At Fitt4kids we want to give the chance for anyone with a passion or interest in sport the opportunity to gain a qualification in sports coaching with our courses from level 2 up to level 4 qualifications.

We have teamed up with Future Apprenticeships who take care of the education side of the courses while we deal with the practical side of things.

LEVEL 4 SPORTS COACH

Guaranteed Success Level 4 Sports Coach offers a specialism in 3 areas.

HIGH PERFORMANCE SPORT COACHES

develop athletes and players in high-performance settings, including those on talent or development pathways, national or international programmes, professional or podium environments.

COMMUNITY SPORT COACHES

motivate and engage people of all ages and abilities in community sports and physical activity settings. Community sport includes local authority, charity and national governing body of sport community initiatives or clubs.

SCHOOL SPORT COACHES

collaborate with teachers to develop pupils’ mastery of psychomotor skills by applying a whole child approach in their coaching. They work in all categories of school and registered childcare environment.

Requirement and Assessment

Entry Requirements Level 3 Qualification

It is desirable that candidates would have achieved a level 2 in Maths and English (equivalent to GCSE Grade C or above) prior to commencing their Apprenticeship training. For those Apprentices who are yet to achieve a level 2 in English and Maths, they will have the opportunity to complete these qualifications during their Apprenticeship. Our Learning approach Future Apprenticeships offer a blended approach to delivery which could include webinars, face-to-face, telephone and online learning to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the standard.

The end-point assessment Level 4

consists of the following four assessment components: • Work-based Observation • Case study challenge • Presentation with question and answers • Panel interview Duration: 18 months Level 4 qualification: Equivalent HNC

LEVEL 2 COMMUNITY ACTIVATOR COACH

Rewarding Results

Community Activator Coach will be a positive role model who builds good rapport with customers – especially those who are young, inactive or from low-income and marginalized communities. They will work alongside youth workers and police to keep neighbourhoods safer, whilst also working with health workers to make residents fitter and healthier. The Community Activator Coach promotes, delivers and coaches fun, inclusive and engaging activities. This standard is ideal for new employees who want to learn and progress, or for existing employees who are looking to retrain or upskill. It is ideal for an employee who is looking to develop leadership skills in their industry. Specific job roles include; Activator, Sports Coach, Activity Leader, Community Worker or Outreach Officer.
